The director of the Academic Committee of the State Key Laboratory of Engine Combustion is Academician Xu Jianzhong, with 14 members, including 4 academicians. The Academic Committee of the Laboratory has gathered domestic well-known experts in internal combustion engines, engineering thermophysics, automobiles and tractors, aero-engines, thermal energy engineering and other related disciplines. The Academic Committee holds a meeting once a year to discuss the development direction, development plan and fund guide of the laboratory, and consider major issues such as open fund, so as to play a decision-making role for the development of the laboratory.
