Procedures for the migration of college students' household registration
The procedure of college students' household registration transfer is as follows:

1, preparation materials:

(1) proof of household registration;

(2) a copy of the employment registration certificate;

(3) Registration form for permanent residents;

(4) One-inch photo;

(5) hospital blood type certificate;

(6) Those who apply for ID cards need to provide two photos of standard ID cards;

2. With the admission notice and my household registration book (or ID card), go through the transfer formalities at the police station where the household registration is located. After the police station has passed the examination, give me a certificate of household registration transfer. The contents of the transfer voucher must be filled in, and there can be no blank items. The ID number should be consistent with the ID card, and the moving address should be filled in according to the detailed address on the admission notice. At the same time, we should pay attention to whether the official seal on the account transfer certificate is complete, usually three official seals;

3. When freshmen report for duty, they shall pay the household registration certificate and ID card processing fee at the designated place;

4. Take photos at the school ID card photo point;

5. According to the notice of the security office, the monitor of each college or class goes to the household registration room of the security office to get a new ID card;

6. Get a new ID card and return the old one.

Legal basis: Article 10 of the Regulations on Household Registration

If a citizen moves out of the place under the jurisdiction of the household registration, he or the head of the household shall apply to the household registration authority for emigration registration, obtain a migration certificate and cancel the household registration.

Citizens who move from rural areas to cities must apply to the permanent residence registration authority for moving out with the employment certificate of the urban labor department, the school admission certificate, or the approval certificate of the urban household registration authority.

Citizens moving to border areas must be approved by the public security organs of the counties, cities and municipal districts where they live.
