1, walk into the picture book and explore the connotation.
Many famous picture book stories at home and abroad are full of philosophy and poetry. Whether children can deeply understand them and have a lasting aftertaste after reading them depends on the charm of the story itself, and teachers also need to actually walk into the picture book and explore its connotation, so as to correctly guide children to read the picture book. Although The Little Conch and the Big Whale is a short story, it contains great philosophy. It tells us that the stage is as big as the heart, and all life starts from being unwilling to be lonely and mediocre. This theme encourages children to have lofty dreams, which is of great ideological and educational significance. In the process of co-reading between teachers and students, we should take the theme as the center and infiltrate this connotation education into all aspects of teaching. For example, do you see a little conch writing with her mucus? The world is so big, I want to see it? Sometimes, when the little conch experiences many difficulties in sailing, when the little conch saves the big whale with great wisdom, and so on. The theme of the story can be penetrated. However, in all aspects of teaching, I have not followed this main line closely, which is the place that needs to be improved in the future.
2, the use of pictures, infiltration methods
Picture books are illustrated with pictures and texts. Leading children to perceive, walk into and appreciate pictures can cultivate their imagination and observation ability. In the process of reading, teachers should not only let children understand the meaning of pictures, but also teach them the corresponding learning methods, so as to migrate to future picture book reading. At the key points of the picture, for example, the little conch has been to the sunny beach, and under the thrilling waves, it has experienced sunny weather and thunderous weather of electric fans. I use a few vivid pictures to guide students to experience different experiences and feel the different breath of the little conch through the change of color, depth and color of the pattern. In this way, children can follow the pictures and feel the world written by artists in a certain way.
Picture book teaching may not be able to convey all the contents of the book to students, but I want to teach children how to read, so that they can apply what they have learned and cultivate their observation, thinking and imagination. That's all that matters.
