To evaluate the health knowledge level, behavior status and health education demand characteristics of migrant workers in construction industry. Methods Health education was given to 600 migrant workers in the construction industry in Wuhan, and the survey results were statistically analyzed. Results After health education, the awareness rate of migrant workers' health knowledge increased from 36.6% before education to 46.0%. Health behavior has improved significantly, and the proportion of choosing community health service centers for medical treatment has increased from 37.8% before education to 44.0%. The demand for health education is increasing. Conclusion Centralized health education has a certain effect, but there is a certain gap between behavior change and knowledge awareness rate. We should further explore health education methods to improve the unhealthy behavior of migrant workers.
