Teachers' rights and obligations
Article 8 of Chapter II Rights and Duties of the Teachers Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that teachers should fulfill the following obligations: abide by the Constitution, laws and professional ethics, and be a model for others. "Professional Ethics of Teachers in Colleges and Universities" stipulates: patriotism and law-abiding, dedication, teaching and educating people, rigorous scholarship, serving the society and being a teacher.

Patriotic and law-abiding

Love the motherland, love the people, support the leadership of China, and support the Socialism with Chinese characteristics system. Abide by the Constitution, laws and regulations, implement the educational policy of the Party and the state, perform the duties of teachers according to law, and maintain social stability and campus harmony. There must be no words and deeds that harm the interests of the state and are not conducive to the healthy growth of students.
