Hainan Medical College is located in Haikou, the capital of Hainan Province. It is the first batch of national excellent doctoral education and training program pilot universities, the first batch of professional comprehensive reform undergraduate colleges and the first batch of educational informatization pilot units.
The school's predecessor was the private Haiqiang Advanced Medical Technology School founded by Mr. Lin Xiaohai on 1947 and the private Haida Medical College founded by Mr. Song Ziwen on 1948. The two universities merged into Hainan Medical College1951(1977-1979 for trial operation).
1983 was merged into Hainan University and became the medical department of Hainan University. 65438-0993 Hainan Medical College was formally established with the approval of the national education administrative department and under the supervision of Hainan Provincial People's Government. In 2003, it was confirmed by the Ministry of Education as a joint training unit for postgraduate students, with master's authorization in 20 13 years and doctoral authorization in 20 19 years.
The school has two national specialties, 1 national experimental teaching construction demonstration center, 1 national off-campus practical education base for college students, and two "professional comprehensive reform pilot" projects of the Ministry of Education.
The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health have three excellent doctoral education and training programs, the Ministry of Education's educational informatization pilot project 1, the national excellent video open class 1, the provincial characteristic course 10, and the provincial excellent course 19.
