Sex education is a beautiful dream and a sincere pursuit, and it is student-centered.

My understanding of "sex education" is student-centered education. What is a student? Students are both groups and individuals. Students are first and foremost a group. I think children have nature, which is a common feature of children and a group feature of students. When we pursue "sex education", we must understand children's nature and master their general characteristics. Students are all kinds of individuals at the same time. As "individuals", children not only conform to the characteristics of children's groups, but also have their own unique personal world. The complexity of people lies in that everyone is the only "this one", and the complexity of education lies in studying "specific individuals" rather than just knowing "almost everyone".

It is natural for education to take "students" as the core, because without students, there would be no teachers, and without students, there would be no education. But today, educational common sense is often distorted and turned into a utilitarian achievement, so "student-centered" often becomes a dream. How much of today's education is really designed and developed for students?

It is said that sex education is a kind of "dream". Because of the diversity of students' personality and the complexity of education itself, "sex education" may be just a beautiful dream that can never be truly realized. It is a kind of "pursuit", because if education gives up the dream of "fit", it will fall into the mud pit of simplification, become dogmatism, become a one-size-fits-all approach, become the "wishful thinking" of educators, and finally get rid of the original intention of education, because the original intention of education is to respect, adapt and develop everyone.

Respecting students is the premise of sex education. Speaking of "sex education", I often think of Gong Zizhen's "The Story of the Sick Plum House". He hated the "sick plum" that violated the law of life, and thought that "the plum in Jiangsu and Zhejiang are all sick, keep its lateral branches, delete its secrets, kill its young branches, hoe its straightness and restrain its anger." I often think that today's education is also making "sick plum" for a "heavy price". The maker of "sick plum" will never consider the development desire and growth law of life itself. In the ideal realm of "sex education", respecting students is the first.

Adapting to students is the law of sex education. Speaking of "sex education", I often think of Zhuangzi's "a clever woman can't cook without rice". Zhuangzi knows the way of keeping in good health from knowing cows by skillful craftsmen, and what I learned from knowing cows by skillful craftsmen is the way of education. The way of keeping in good health and the way of education are actually the same: it lies in "conformity". All good education is in line with students' "nature" and "personality", and respecting the laws of education should be the minimum pursuit of education. Unfortunately, the current education is often more eager for quick success and instant benefit, which often makes schools and teachers have no courage to "emphasize the law and quality of education". In the sincere pursuit of "sex education", studying students has become an important task, because it is impossible to "conform" to the growth law of students without studying their "group" and "personality".

Developing students is the purpose of sex education. The fundamental goal of sex education is to better develop students, respect and conform to their goals, not to "indulge" students, but to promote their free and full growth. Therefore, the teacher's "adaptive guidance" is the key element. Therefore, adaptive education calls for the improvement of teachers' all-round quality, which requires teachers to have the ability to design courses and provide students with rich and optional course nutritious meals; It requires teachers to have the ability to control the classroom, so that the classroom becomes the main position for students' wisdom growth; It requires teachers to have the ability to organize activities, give full play to teachers' guiding power in free and happy activities, and make each child become the best self according to his own personality and talent to create a successful life.
