Exemption policy for self-study examination of higher education
Full-time ordinary institutions of higher learning with nationally recognized academic qualifications, graduates of the following majors who have been approved or agreed by the Ministry of Education for the record to recognize institutions of higher learning and higher education self-study exams, and those who have obtained relevant certificates of higher education self-study exams recognized by the state may be exempted from the exam.

Public courses are exempt from examination.

Graduates from junior college or above who have participated in the corresponding public courses of self-taught examination may apply for exemption from the examination (Outline of China's Modern History and Introduction to the Basic Principles of Marxism).

Public foreign language courses are exempt from examination.

Foreign language graduates can be exempted from taking public foreign language courses corresponding to languages: English (II), Japanese (II) and Russian (II).

PETS-3 exam is exempt.

Those who pass the written test of PETS-3, a public English examination system, may be exempted from taking public foreign language courses.

Electronic information majors are exempt from examination.

Graduates majoring in electronic information or those who have obtained the certificate of Grade II or above in the National Computer Rank Examination may be exempted from the course of Computer Application of Management System (including internship).

Math majors are exempt from exams.

Graduates majoring in mathematics can be exempted from taking advanced mathematics (I) or linear algebra (economics and management), probability theory and mathematical statistics (economics and management) or advanced mathematics (engineering college) or advanced mathematics (engineering college).
