In the Western Jin Dynasty, imperial academy was restored according to the old system of Han and Wei Dynasties, but the old disadvantages of imperial academy remained unchanged. There are various types of students, and the school is in name only. Under this condition, in the fourth year of Xianning in the Western Jin Dynasty (278), imperial academy was established in addition to imperial academy, and in the third year of Yuankang (293), imperial academy was established as an official product, stipulating that bureaucratic children with more than five products were eligible to study in imperial academy. Since then, schools in imperial academy and Guo Zi are neck and neck, while schools in Guo Zi are aristocratic schools, while schools in imperial academy only accept children of civilians, landlords, bureaucrats and civilians below Grade 6. This educational system, which distinguishes between scholars and people, was formally established in form and lasted for more than 1000 years, and became one of the basic educational forms in China feudal society.
