What are the "Four Colleges" in China? China is a country with a long history of culture and art, with four famous academies in history. The names of the four academies are: "Yingtian Academy (now Nanhebian, Suiyang District, Shangqiu, Henan Province); Yuelu Academy in Changsha (now Yuelu Mountain in Changsha, Hunan); Bailudong Academy (now Lushan Mountain, Jiujiang, Jiangxi); Songyang Academy (now Songshan Mountain in Dengfeng, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province).

These four private schools are collectively referred to as the "Four Colleges" in China by celebrities, experts and scholars from all over the world. Yingtian Academy, formerly known as Qu, was a private school founded in the late Jin Dynasty. In Song Dynasty, political parties offered courses for scholars, and Yingtian Academy was full of talents. There are more than 100 students in the same list in the imperial examination, as many as 50 or 60. 1009, Song Zhenzong announced the granting of private schools as Yingtianfu private schools. In Song Renzong, Yingtian Academy was changed to imperial academy in 1043, becoming one of the highest institutions of learning in the Song Dynasty. With the support of Yingtian county magistrate and famous writer Yan Shu, private schools have been greatly expanded. Wang Anshi, a famous thinker and writer, and other outstanding teachers from a group of celebrities have taught here and achieved great success.

5. Yingtian Academy, also known as Yingtianfu Private School, Suiyang Private School, Nanjing Private School, Dongshang Private School and Nanjing imperial academy, is located in the south bank of Shangqiu Ancient City, Suiyang District, Shangqiu City, Henan Province. During the Jin Dynasty after the Five Dynasties, Yang Yun, a Confucian scholar in Yucheng, Songzhou, with the support of German general Zhao Zhi in World War II, assembled heavy troops to give lectures and founded Suiyang Academy. After their death, their students inherited the teacher's career, re-established the school, and private schools got the development trend.

In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China in Song Dynasty, talents were badly needed. At that time, students and apprentices of Suiyang Academy participated in the imperial examination system, and as many as 50 or 60 people got the first place. Scholars from all over the world came to Songzhou in the name of Qi, and there were a steady stream of unemployed people. There has been a grand occasion of "experts and scholars from far and near all return", including Wang Anshi who sang "Worry about the world first, and enjoy the world later". Suiyang Academy gradually formed a school for academic research, cultural exchange and education, but after the death of Qi, the Academy was once closed.

In the second year of Dazhong Xiangfu (1009), Cao Cheng, a rich man in Songcheng County (now Suiyang District, Shangqiu, Henan Province), invested 3 million gold to complete the old school, built 150 rooms, and collected more than 1500 books to recruit students. The following year, Qi Shunbin, Qi's grandson, was hired as a captain. With the participation of Yan Shu and Wang Anshi, Yingtian Academy gradually developed into the most influential private school in Song Dynasty. "Learning together is the sea, then I will swallow nine rivers, and I respect thousands of valleys; If the word is sharp, then I will decide and I will cut jade. " This is also the inscription of Nanjing Academy written by Wang Anshi when he was in charge of Yingtian Academy, which shows the exhibition spirit and magnificent momentum of Yingtian Academy.
