The Provisions on the Protection of Minors' Schools is a provision formed on the basis of in-depth research in order to implement the decision-making arrangements of the CPC Central Committee on the protection of minors, implement the newly revised Law on the Protection of Minors in People's Republic of China (PRC), and improve the protection system of minors' schools.
On 2002 1 June 1 day, Minister of Education Chen Baosheng signed Decree No.50 of the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), promulgating the Regulations on the Protection of Minors' Schools, which will take effect from September1year.
The specific provisions of the Regulations on the Protection of Minors' Schools are as follows
Chapter I General Provisions
Article 1 These Provisions are formulated in accordance with the Education Law of the People's Republic of China, the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Minors and other laws and regulations in order to implement the responsibility of school protection, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of minors and promote their all-round development and healthy growth.
Article 2 These Provisions shall apply to the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of minors (hereinafter referred to as students) in ordinary primary and secondary schools and secondary vocational schools.
Article 3 Schools should fully implement the national education policy, carry out the fundamental task of moral education, carry forward the socialist core values, run schools and run schools according to law, perform their statutory duties of protecting students' rights and interests, and improve the security system and mechanism.
Article 4 The protection of school students should adhere to the principle of being most beneficial to minors, pay attention to the combination of protection and education, and adapt to the laws and characteristics of students' healthy physical and mental development; Care about every student, respect the rights of students and listen to their opinions.
Article 5 The administrative department of education shall perform its duties, improve the supporting measures and service system for the protection of students in school together with relevant departments, and strengthen the support, guidance, supervision and evaluation of the protection of students in school.
