1 At the end of the semester, the school distributed the Student Summer Life Questionnaire to more than 1000 students and their parents. It is found that the parents of students in our school are mostly dual employees in enterprises, and the management of summer students is blank. In view of this situation, how to realize students' self-management and actively promote the construction of a harmonious society? To this end, the school fully tapped social resources, made use of community places and articles, and carried out the activities of flying the national flag into the community in summer.

Focus of activities:

One side of the team flag: each: the activity team made up its own team name and designed its own team flag. "Hope Team" and "Dream Team" ... The name and flag of each team carry the students' dreams.

Close to: Close to society and nature. Being close to the society is to let students determine their service posts in the society, and implement the principle of "stressing hygiene and being a small guardian of public health"; Stress norms and be a good teacher of community cultural environment; Pay attention to dedication and do a good job in social service; Talking about greening and being a good gardener of community green space; Be polite, be a propagandist of etiquette, and let students get exercise in practice. Being close to nature means guiding students to experience nature, carrying out activities with the theme of "experience trip", and enhancing students' sense of social responsibility and environmental protection through activities such as understanding plants and conducting environmental surveys.

Three steps: gratitude into the community, environmental protection into the community, and scholarly into the community. Start-up phase (early July)

First, set up a community holiday squadron to form a holiday education network. Take the living quarters within the jurisdiction as participants, and set up various activity groups according to students' interests and age characteristics, improve the organization, clarify the activity requirements, and activate and standardize students' holiday life.

Two, the implementation of educational content, clear objectives and requirements. Each group set up a schoolbag library to organize reading, reading newspapers and writing reading notes during holidays; Carry out warm community activities, publicize the party's policies, and maintain community security and stability.

Third, strengthen organizational management and standardize educational responsibilities. Parents and retired people who are enthusiastic about community education inside and outside the school are hired to form an extracurricular activity counseling group, draw up an activity plan, clarify the content of the activity, pursue the effect of the activity, and strive to produce good social effects.

Activity phase (mid-July to August)

First, environmental education: understand the community education resources around you. Teachers lead students into the community to obtain community resources. Through the investigation, teachers and students understand the community environment, community size and some places in the community. Then according to the questions raised by the students, each holiday activity group determines a research topic and writes a survey report in groups. Teachers can also determine some topics in advance, and students in community groups can choose to complete them independently. The selected topics can include: community noise survey, community white pollution survey, community dog survey, and so on.

Second, local education: experience the community education resources around you. The Football Museum is only a few hundred meters away from our school. To this end, our school actively contacted the football museum and organized students to visit the football museum during the summer vacation to feel the cuju culture and appreciate the charm of football. At the same time, under the guidance of extracurricular activity counselors, students in each activity group complete summer expansion homework: make a handwritten newspaper about Cuju, which can be in various forms such as painting and paper-cutting.

Third, community education: developing community education resources. The school actively contacted the local Committee for the Care of the Next Generation, and strived for them to provide weekend reading places and books for students. The reading room is open to students every weekend. Students can read books and newspapers here and freely absorb the nutrition of books in this big classroom in the community. During the two months of summer vacation, retired old people will read books such as Diane the tomboy, Beautiful Teachers and Bad Boys, Peter Pan, etc. with students, and write reading essays to exchange reading experiences.

Expansion stage (end of August)

First, the activity adopts the mode of community counselor evaluation, parents evaluation, students' self-evaluation and mutual evaluation to evaluate each participating student.

Second, after the holiday, hold an exhibition of achievements, including handwritten newspapers, poems and paintings, newspaper clippings, bookmarks and so on. And select outstanding tutors and students in community reading activities.

Activity principle:

Give full play to the principle of students' subjectivity. In the activities, fully mobilize their enthusiasm to experience and serve the society, and let them consciously "I want to do it" instead of "asking me to do it". During the activity, with the help and guidance of the teacher, the team members designed, selected, innovated and applied their own activity methods, and gave full play to their initiative and enthusiasm under the theme with squadron characteristics.

Target audience: students from grade one to grade six.

Student: Grade 1-2: Carry out "Family Drawing and Teaching Truth". Children can take out their brushes and express your gratitude and love to their parents through pictures and words. Size A4 paper size or A3 size.

Grade 3-5: Carry out the activity of "Letters from True Feelings". Children can write down what they say relative to their parents, but they are embarrassed to express it in person. Children in the third grade can be a paragraph or a few paragraphs; Grade 4-5 requires writing a letter.

Parents: You can comment or reply to children's pictures or letters.
