The Ministry of Education has issued the "Regulations on Prohibiting Paid Make-up Classes for Primary and Secondary School Teachers and In-service Primary and Secondary School Teachers". It is stipulated to draw six "red lines" for paid remedial classes.

It is strictly forbidden for primary and secondary schools to organize and require students to participate in paid remedial classes; It is strictly forbidden for primary and secondary schools and off-campus training institutions to jointly carry out paid remedial classes; It is strictly forbidden for primary and secondary schools to provide education and teaching facilities or student information for off-campus training institutions to make up lessons; It is strictly forbidden for in-service primary and secondary school teachers to organize, recommend and induce students to participate in paid remedial classes inside and outside the school.

It is strictly forbidden for in-service primary and secondary school teachers to participate in off-campus training institutions organized by other teachers, parents, parents' committees and other organizations or to make up classes with compensation. ; It is strictly forbidden for in-service primary and secondary school teachers to introduce students and provide relevant information to off-campus training institutions and others.

It is a common practice all over the world to prohibit primary and secondary school teachers from making up lessons with compensation. Their basic starting point is similar, that is, they think that this will destroy the educational ecology, transplant the knowledge that schools should teach to extracurricular classes, and cause unfair education, especially the injustice of basic education.

The Provisions on Prohibiting Paid Make-up Classes for Primary and Secondary School Teachers and In-service Primary and Secondary School Teachers has drawn six "red lines" for paid make-up classes:
