Edmondo de amicis (1846~ 1908)

1846 was born in Italy. At that time, Italy was influenced by the French Revolution, and patriotism was brewing at home, which naturally left an indelible mark on his young mind.

Italian novelist. Patriots during the national rejuvenation movement participated in the liberation of Italy in 1866. After retiring, he worked as a reporter for military periodicals, published features, reports and short stories, and was included and published by 1866 as Living in a Barracks. He traveled around the world and wrote many travel notes, among which the famous ones are Spanish Travel Notes (1872), London Travel Notes (1874), Morocco Travel Notes (1876) and Paris Travel Notes (1879). He is a philanthropist. Many of his works, such as Friends (1883) and At Sea (1889), especially the close-up collection Heart (love education old translation, 1886), reflect the poverty of the middle and lower classes with sincere and passionate hearts. After approaching the socialist movement, he integrated the socialist thought with the spirit of fraternity, and wrote the novel A Teacher's Novel (1890) and The Collection of Short Stories between School and Family (1892), advocating the education of the common people and trying to coordinate the relationship between different social classes. His other novel, May 1st, was written in 1889, and he barely published it until 1980. The bumpy experience of a professor reflects the intellectuals' exploration of the future of society and the birth of the Italian socialist movement at the end of 19.
