Xinyang Normal University? (Xinyang? Normal? University), referred to as Xinyang Normal University (XYNU), is the first undergraduate university established in Henan Province after China's reform and opening up, one of the two key normal universities in Henan Province, and a shining business card of higher education in Dabie Mountain area, which is known as "the cradle of teachers?" Founded in 1975, the school is Xinyang Branch of Kaifeng Teachers College (now Henan University). In 1978, it was approved by the State Council as a scientific system and renamed as its current name. In 1998, it was approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee as the authorized unit for master's degree, and in 20 18, it was approved as the authorized construction unit for provincial doctoral degree.
