Basic survey of education in Hong Kong
Education in Hong Kong is mainly managed by the Education and Manpower Bureau of the Hong Kong Government (hereinafter referred to as EMB). The system can be roughly divided into the following parts:

Preschool education: through private kindergartens and kindergartens, preschool children are provided with opportunities to learn and get along with groups.

Nine-year free education: set up government or aided schools in Hong Kong to provide six-year primary school and three-year junior high school courses for school-age children.

Senior high school and preparatory course: set up two-year senior high schools (Secondary Four and Secondary Five) to provide students with the most basic education before work; Set up two-year preparatory courses (Form 6 and Form 7) as the course preparation for students before entering the university.

Post-secondary courses: offer various forms of post-secondary courses, including technical colleges, junior colleges and universities.
