The difference between pedagogy and educational technology
Pedagogy and educational technology are essentially different in curriculum and nature. As far as the curriculum is concerned, educational technology is a semi-computer major and an interdisciplinary subject between pedagogy and computer science. Courses include educational software engineering, distance education and computer-aided teaching. I am an undergraduate majoring in educational technology. In nature, it is science and engineering. According to the different emphases of major universities, degree certificates are divided into science and education. After graduation, the employment direction is computer teachers in middle schools and educational technology research institutes in major universities. The main courses are C programming, data structure, computer-aided instruction and so on.

Pedagogy is more important than theoretical research. The main courses are the principles of pedagogy, basic psychology, a brief history of pedagogy at home and abroad, development and educational psychology, etc.
