Liu studied at Rongshan Academy in Shunde when he was a teenager. At that time, President Chen Donghai was a well-known painter and painter, and he was quite talented in painting and calligraphy. Under the influence of Chen Donghai's school art, he became interested in painting and calligraphy. Mr. Chen Donghai became his first painting and calligraphy teacher, and Rongshan Academy was the cradle of his growth.

When he was in middle school, Liu's father was doing business in Guangzhou, and he went to Guangzhou to study with his father. My father is a wealthy businessman, who also loves the art of painting and calligraphy, and is willing to make friends in the field of painting and calligraphy. Because Liu often follows his father and listens to his predecessors to talk about the essentials of painting and calligraphy, Liu always makes a piece of paper automatically when he sees it and observes the pen and ink skills of his predecessors. His father also bought some famous paintings and calligraphy works for his reference.

Gradually, Liu has a certain foundation of painting and calligraphy, and sometimes he is directly enlightened by cooperating with famous artists. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, Master Gui Nanping also accepted his disciples to learn calligraphy, and sometimes Liu personally wrote the signature of Master Gui. Taishi thinks highly of Liu as a plastic material, and recommends him to paint with Chen Xuexue, a master of Lingnan Painting School. Chen has always refused to accept an apprentice, but because he is in-laws with Master Gui, Liu became Chen's apprentice because of his kindness.

Liu, at the age of weak crown, made rapid progress in painting and calligraphy under the guidance of famous teachers. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Guangzhou's economy was depressed, but when Liu's works were exhibited in Guangzhou, the money from selling them could buy a private house. On the eve of the liberation of Guangzhou, he was invited by the Chinese Institute of Hong Kong to teach in Hong Kong. At a painting and calligraphy exhibition, an education official of Malaysia's western industry appreciated Liu's works very much and hired him to work in education in North Borneo. Since then, he has become an overseas Chinese in North Borneo (now Sabah), Malaysia. Having lived in Malaysia for nearly half a century, he was the president of the Yanhuang Culture Research Association in that country, and traveled around the world when he entered middle age. He has held art exhibitions in more than 65,438+000 countries and regions such as Southeast Asia, Europe, America and Australia, lectured at the University of Western Australia, and created works while collecting wind.
