First, fully understand the significance of reasonable control of air conditioning temperature.

China has a large population and a weak foundation, so the task of saving energy resources and protecting the ecological environment is very arduous. At present, the situation of energy conservation and emission reduction is very severe. The peak of electricity consumption this summer is coming, so all regions and relevant departments must raise awareness, plan ahead, strengthen organization and leadership, and take effective measures to do a good job in air conditioning energy saving.

Second, strictly implement the air conditioning temperature control standards.

All units in public buildings, including state organs, social organizations, enterprises, institutions and individual industrial and commercial households, except special units such as hospitals and approved users who have specific requirements for temperature in production technology, the indoor air conditioning temperature shall not be lower than 26 degrees Celsius in summer and higher than 20 degrees Celsius in winter. Under normal circumstances, it is forbidden to open windows when the air conditioner is running. On the premise of ensuring compliance with the above requirements, all localities may further formulate specific control standards according to local climatic conditions and other actual conditions. State organs at all levels should take the lead in practicing economy, strictly implement air-conditioning temperature control standards, and play an exemplary role.
