Do banks need to pay for continuing education?
According to the Administrative Measures for Continuing Education of Banking Professionals in China (revised 20 19), continuing education requires at least 30 hours of study on the course contents provided by the Oriental Banking Institute of Advanced Management and the Banking Association. In order to ensure and maintain the normal operation of the system, professionals need to pay the study fee to participate in the online training provided by the system.

Fees: It costs money to receive continuing education on the website of bank continuing education (that is, the online learning system of continuing education developed by China Banking Association and Oriental Banking Institute of Advanced Management), which is generally 10 yuan/class hour.

Duration requirements: from the year following the certificate approval date, you must receive at least 90 hours of continuing education in each natural year, including at least 30 hours of continuing education completed in banking regulatory agencies, China Banking Association and local banking associations (academic and public associations), financial institutions, approved universities and other qualified education and training institutions; Continuing education completed by other means shall not be less than 60 hours.
