The most popular China drama this summer is Hidden Corner, with Douban score of 8.9, climbing the mountain, and Do you think I still have a chance? This online drama is adapted from the mystery novel Bad Boy, which tells the story of three friends who accidentally witnessed a murder while climbing a mountain in the summer vacation.

(including some spoilers, I don't like caution)

Life consists of countless choices, big and small, and sometimes an unexpected encounter is enough to turn the whole life around. This is what happened to Zhu Chaoyang, the protagonist in the play.

Zhu Chaoyang, a junior high school student, has excellent academic performance and has always been the first in his class. He loves mathematics. He learned almost all high school mathematics in the second day of junior high school, and he often got full marks in mathematics exams. If we follow the established direction, Xueba Zhu Chaoyang will always be a good school.

That summer, Yan Liang and Pupu escaped from the orphanage and went all the way from Beijing to Ningshi, the city where Yan Liang grew up as a child. One is to raise money for Pupu's younger brother, and the other is to visit his father.

When two friends arrived in Ningshi, they found their childhood playmate Zhu Chaoyang. While Chaoyang's mother was away, they lived in his house and played together.

Three friends meet to climb Liu Fengshan, and inadvertently record the picture of Zhang Dongsheng, a math teacher, pushing her parents-in-law off the cliff. They thought of calling the police, but they were afraid to expose the identities of Yan Liang and Pupu. Finally, they decided to write a warning letter to the murderer, warning him not to do bad things again, or they would give the camera to the police.

After finding out who wrote the warning letter, Zhang Dongsheng offered to spend money to buy the camera in their hands, but the money for the operation on Pupu's brother has not yet been settled. Finally, they decided to ask for 300,000 yuan and sell the camera to Zhang Dongsheng.

One wrong step, one wrong step. When it was decided to blackmail 300,000 yuan, Zhu Chaoyang's fate was irreversible. First, because Chaoyang was bullied by his half-sister Zhu Jingjing, Pupu decided to help Chaoyang teach her sister a lesson, which caused her to slip and die.

Zhu Jingjing's uncle, Wang Li, heard that his niece's death might be related to Zhu Chaoyang and planned to teach him a lesson. At this time, Zhang Dongsheng has collected 300,000 yuan and handed it to three little guys. He planned to get rid of the three of them after changing the camera with money, but he didn't expect to meet Wang Li who came to Zhu Chaoyang on the way.

Zhu Chaoyang was taken to the aquatic plant by Wang Li, and Zhang Dongsheng followed them to the aquatic plant with Pupu in order to get back 300,000 yuan. Finally, Zhang Dongsheng killed Wang Li and hid him in the freezer. Zhu Chaoyang was saved by his father Zhu Yongping.

Zhu Chaoyang witnessed Zhang Dongsheng killing Wang Li and hiding his body. At this point, he has been blackened. Zhang Dongsheng met Zhu Yongping and Yao Yao when he went to the aquaculture factory to carry Wang Li's body again. Poor thing, they also died at the hands of Zhang Dongsheng.

Compared with the original bad boy, the characters and plot development of online drama have changed a lot. In the play, Zhang Dongsheng was the main executor of several murders, and Zhu Chaoyang indirectly participated in or promoted these murders. In the original book, his sister Zhu Jingjing was pushed down the window by Zhu Chaoyang, and his father Zhu Yongping and stepmother Yao Yao were also killed by Zhang Dongsheng.

How did Zhu Chaoyang, the schoolmaster in everyone's eyes and the pride in mom's eyes, go bad step by step? If Yan Liang and Pupu didn't come to Zhu Chaoyang this summer vacation, would he grow up to be a sunny adult? What great influence does family background have on a person's character formation, mentality and behavior?

The following will analyze the two characters in the play according to their family background.

1 Zhu Chaoyang

Zhu Chaoyang's parents divorced when he was young, and his father, Zhu Yongping, ran a fishing factory and earned a lot of money. Mother Zhou Chunhong works in a scenic spot in the suburbs. After Zhu Yongping and Zhou Chunhong divorced, Zhu Chaoyang lived with her mother.

In the play, the Zhu Chaoyang family lived in an old community, and most of their furniture was old. The only thing of value should be her mother's gold ornaments. Mom doesn't earn much from work, and she has to support herself and Zhu Chaoyang, so the economy seems to be relatively tight. This can be seen from the furnishings at home and the fact that Zhu Chaoyang has to keep an account every time he gives money.

Dad, the aquatic products factory in Zhu Yongping has a good income. The economic conditions of Zhu Yongping and his wife Yao Yao's new family are much better than Zhou Chunhong's, which can also be seen from their family decoration and dressing.

When my parents divorced, the financial conditions of my father and mother were very different, which also led to Zhu Chaoyang's introverted personality. At school, he only cares about his studies, and no one likes to play with him, let alone his friends. The appearance of Yan Liang and Pupu naturally made him feel the power of friendship and naturally got closer.

Chaoyang's mother asked him to keep accounts and forced him to drink milk, which shows that she has a strong desire to control her son. Mother Zhou Chunhong is an aloof person. She has been in contact with Director Ma of the scenic spot for some time without telling Chaoyang, but she never wanted to make it public. It is difficult for an unhappy mother to cultivate children with cheerful personality and healthy growth in all aspects.

In the play, father Zhu Yongping seldom gets along with his son. The economic power of the family is in the hands of the wife, and she rarely takes her son to buy things and rarely gives him money. After his daughter Zhu Jingjing died, he took Zhu Chaoyang swimming in the swimming pool several times, which was one of the few times that Zhu Chaoyang smiled so happily.

Lack of paternal love, over-repressed maternal love, and the huge disparity in family economic status between father and mother, these root family origins made Zhu Chaoyang develop an introverted personality. It is understandable that he is jealous of Yao Yao and his sister Zhu Jingjing. After all, if his father didn't cheat Yao Yao, his father's love and good family should belong to him. Therefore, Zhu Chaoyang longed for the warmth of his father's love, but at the same time he also had a bad feeling. There is a scene in the play where dad takes him to eat dessert and gives him a new goggles. The purpose is to try to trick him into confirming whether Zhu Jingjing's death has anything to do with him. Zhu Chaoyang can pretend that nothing happened after he found the recorder that his father put in his bag. Naturally, he said that he felt sorry for Zhu Jingjing's death, which shows that his deliberation is far less than that of an adult.

2 Zhu Jingjing

Zhu Jingjing in the play grew up in a sound family, and her parents doted on her extremely, forming her surly character. When dad was in the mall with Chaoyang and Jingjing, Jingjing deliberately stepped on Zhu Chaoyang's shoes. Yao Yao clearly saw this scene, but let her bully her brother Zhu Chaoyang.

Zhu Jingjing's death is directly related to her violent and stubborn personality. If she didn't take others seriously, she wouldn't be forced to fall on the windowsill and die.

A good family condition is that God gave her a good hand, but Zhu Jingjing broke the good hand herself, which was contributed by her mother Yao Yao. Zhu Jingjing's mother's connivance and spoil made him a character defect. If there is no family education with correct discipline, it is better to leave it alone. Parents are children's first teachers, and children set up their own outlook on life from imitating adults.

No matter the family background or economic conditions, there is a huge gap between Zhu Chaoyang and Zhu Jingjing. One is a child who grew up in an environment with imperfect family and lack of father's love, introverted and cool; One is a child spoiled by his parents, surly and fearless.

Many people say that the defect of being born in a family is the original sin that causes children to grow up healthily. Is a family with healthy parents and good economic conditions an excellent family? Judging from the example of Zhu Jingjing, the answer is not necessarily.

What kind of family environment do our children need to grow up and have a sound outlook on life and world? Welcome to leave a message in the comment area and discuss it together.
