"Three circles" means "life circle, entertainment circle and social circle". It is not only a key link in the education, management and supervision of cadres by party organizations, but also an important embodiment of every leading cadre's life pursuit, taste and accomplishment, and it is also the fundamental guarantee for social prosperity, the effectiveness of party style and clean government construction and personal growth and progress.

Purifying the "three circles" is an inevitable requirement for maintaining the political ecology.

As a member of society, discipline inspection and supervision cadres do not live in a vacuum, but have their own life circle, social circle and circle of friends, which is understandable. However, in social interaction, discipline inspection and supervision cadres should strengthen self-discipline, make friends cautiously, always bear in mind that "a friendship between gentlemen is as light as water", and do not engage in cronyism, cliques, and "small circles", let alone exchange principles and interests for feelings.
