Zhu Yongxin, 1958, was born in Dafeng, Jiangsu. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party, a deputy mayor of Suzhou Municipal People's Government, a professor and doctoral supervisor of Suzhou University, an adjunct professor of Tongji University, Beijing Normal University and Nanjing Normal University, a member of the Expert Committee on Teacher Education of the Ministry of Education, a member of the Psychology Teaching Steering Committee of colleges and universities, and a director of the Chinese Psychological Society. He studied in Jiangsu Normal University, Shanghai Normal University, Tongji University and Fudan University. Most of his works are included in the ten volumes of Zhu Yongxin Education (People's Education Press, 2004). In addition, he also edited more than 30 books such as Contemporary Japanese Education Series and Education Online Library, and presided over the compilation and publication of New Century Education Library. He has published more than 200 papers in academic journals at home and abroad. He has presided over many research projects entrusted by UNESCO, National Natural Science Foundation, National Social Science Foundation and provincial scientific research projects, and won many awards.
