Although many colleges and universities in China have military research rooms, there are no full-time national defense education teachers in the research rooms. Although a few schools are equipped with full-time teachers, when teaching national defense education courses, teachers mostly take the form. The national defense education teachers in many schools are counselors. The full-time teachers in colleges and universities generally have the problem of low professional level. Most teachers are not military professionals and only take up their posts after relevant training. They have no effective way to acquire professional knowledge of national defense education, and their professional quality and concept are far from ideal.
