What's the best way? The Zen master said: You will know next year.
The next year, the disciples came back and found that the grass had grown into pieces of wheat, and the original weeds were no longer visible. The disciples realized that the best way was to grow food on the grass.
This is the wisdom of the Zen master-weeding with grain. When we cultivate habits, can we learn from Zen master? There are more good habits and fewer bad habits.
Habits are not formed overnight; It usually takes some time to correct a bad habit. According to experts' research, repetition over 2 1 day will form a habit, and repetition over 90 days will form a stable habit. So if an idea is verified by others or yourself for more than 2 1 time, it will definitely become your belief.
The formation of habits can be roughly divided into three stages: the first stage is about 1 ~ 7 days, which is characterized by "deliberate and unnatural". You need to remind yourself to change very deliberately, and you will feel a little unnatural and uncomfortable.
The second stage is about 7 ~ 2 1 day. This stage is characterized by "deliberate and natural". You already feel more natural and comfortable, but you will go back to the past if you don't pay attention. Therefore, you need to deliberately remind yourself to change.
The third stage lasts about 2 1 ~ 90 days, and is characterized by "casual nature". In fact, this is habit, and this stage is called "habit stable period". There are some ways to form habits:
