Teachers College of Guangxi Normal University was approved by Guangxi Education Department in April 2002 and reconfirmed by the Ministry of Education in February 2004. Founded by Nanning Normal University in accordance with the new mechanism and mode, it is the second batch of B-type comprehensive colleges.
The school is located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, adjacent to Liangfengjiang National Forest Park and Dawangtan Reservoir. Campus planning covers an area of 250,000 square meters, with a planned total construction area of 200,000 square meters and 9,833 undergraduates. Teachers College of Nanning Normal University was awarded as Health School of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Advanced Patriotic Health Unit of Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Guided by the educational concept of "teacher-oriented, student-oriented, emphasizing the application, innovation, openness, complexity and diversity of personnel training", the college focuses on the teaching reform of "active form, strengthening practice, enriching content and improving application", with the training goal of "having both knowledge and skills, having strong practical activity ability and social competitiveness", and faces education, production, construction and development.
