If it is not Unicom, follow the following rules.

1, connection

The connection method is: the telephone line is connected to the cat, the network port of the cat is connected to the WAN interface of the router, and your computer is connected to any LAN interface of the router.

2. set the IP address.

Right-click My Online Neighborhood-> Attribute-> Right-click Local Area Connection-> Attribute-> Double-click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)-> Then choose to get IP and DNS automatically.

Step 3 connect the router

Check the instruction manual to see if the IP address of your router is 192. 168. 1 or192.168.0.1. Account number is admin, password is admin or empty.

4. According to the instructions, select PPPOE and enter the account password.

5. If it is a wireless router, you need to set a wireless password. Try to set a password that is easy to remember, but long.

6. Save and restart, and you're done.

Unicom and the general steps are the same as above, except that when setting the account password, the online account provided by Unicom can only be entered after being counted by Unicom number counter.

Connect the computer to the router, open the browser, enter 192. 168. 1 in the website, and click to enter.
