CET-4, the abbreviation of CET-4, is a national English test sponsored by the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education. The main target of the examination is college students, undergraduates or graduate students who have completed CET-4 according to the educational syllabus. Standardized grades 4 and 6 were prepared at the end of 1986 and formally implemented at 1987.

CET-6 (also known as CET-6) is a national examination set, charged and organized by the state, which is used to evaluate candidates' English ability. It is held twice a year.

The National Computer Rank Examination (NCRE) is a national computer proficiency examination system approved by the former State Education Commission (now the Ministry of Education) and sponsored by the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education.
