Reasons for creating education
(1) Lack of educational democracy.

Educational democracy and creative education are inseparable. The growth of creative talents and the formation of creative thinking depend on the long-term edification and edification of a democratic, free, harmonious and safe spiritual environment. Only in a democratic atmosphere can we have the freedom and development of personality, active thinking and creative potential.

China's deep-rooted cultural tradition and the backwardness of current educational concepts make educational democracy still at a disadvantage in the field of education. The idea of "official standard" and "dignity of teaching", which has been inherited for thousands of years, has spread to every corner of school education from time to time. Although these traditions have played a certain role in the implementation of norms and the operation of the system, it is also obvious that they suppress and destroy creation. In school life, it shows contempt and indifference to democracy and wanton trampling on personality rights; Explain that you only believe in compulsion, don't believe in consciousness, only talk about restraint, don't talk about freedom, only talk about being strict and not tolerant, willing to discipline but not encouraging, willing to correct mistakes but unwilling to appreciate.

In this atmosphere, the relationship between teachers and students is mostly controlled, the educational atmosphere is tense and depressing, students' thoughts and behaviors are mostly strictly controlled, and most of the time and space are occupied by semi-compulsory learning; In such an atmosphere, students almost lost their independence and autonomy, lost the space for independent thinking, study, free work and playing games, and their personal intelligence and passion were stifled, showing only dependence and servility, becoming more and more clumsy and dull. How can this be creative? Only when we are committed to establishing a democratic and relaxed educational environment will innovative spirit and innovative consciousness flow in it and innovative talents will emerge continuously.

(2) The excessive pursuit of utilitarianism in education itself.

Judging from the process of education and teaching, China's education still continues the traditional way of 1000 years. Almost all education and training have lost their original nature and become tools for further study and obtaining diplomas. Teachers completely obey the instructions of the school education arrangement, teaching is uniform and perfect in five links. The "soul engineer" has become a soulless teaching machine.

The classroom is full of irrigation, the teacher talks about what to test, does not talk about what to test, and the students learn what to test and what not to test. The phenomenon of "taking notes in class, taking notes in exams and throwing notes after exams" is widespread, leading to the lack of free spirit and personality development.

This utilitarian teaching has obvious obstacles to creativity: first, it weakens students' subjective spirit and initiative, which affects the formation of creative quality; Second, blind injection has strengthened students' ability to absorb and accept, while the problem consciousness and inquiry ability needed for creation have shrunk because of insufficient development; Third, as long as the standardized examination follows the rules and adheres to a fixed format, it will bound students' thoughts, and will inevitably produce boredom, monotony and boredom, eroding the enthusiasm for pursuing creation. Therefore, only when education really aims at the free development of individuals and the promotion of personality will creative education come.

(3) Lack of creative education goals.

Looking at our previous educational goals, it is not difficult to find that we have almost no provisions on the goals of creative education, and the qualities necessary for creation such as unique personality and respect for diversity are rarely involved, and it is difficult to see creative goals in the curriculum system. There are also few educational goals created in the evaluation and examination system.

In terms of specific training objectives, what we have been asking for is the training order of knowledge-ability-emotion, which also leads to the over-emphasis on knowledge and skills and the neglect of creativity. In the process of setting the goal of creative education, we think that we should "put emotion first, follow up ability, and leave knowledge behind", and don't worry about overcorrection. We would rather sacrifice a little knowledge and set the goal of stimulating creative creation. This includes compressing teaching materials, reducing the difficulty, making students move more, enriching courses and so on. It is necessary to strengthen the position of creativity with a series of practical measures and direct and adjust the work of the school with the goal of creating education by people.

(4) Teachers lack the quality of creative education.

"Without the quality of teachers, there is no quality of education", and the key to implementing creative education is to have a team of high-quality teachers with innovative spirit and ability. Only when every teacher has innovative consciousness and ability can "creation" be embodied in the whole process of education and teaching activities, and students' innovative consciousness can be cultivated and students' creative sparks can be ignited.

The basic qualities that creative teachers should possess are: respecting students' personality, good individual psychological quality, strong creative intention and independent critical spirit, discovering students' creative potential and creative education skills. Ask yourself, how many teachers in China today have these qualities? Some teachers don't answer students' questions in class, but treat students' questions as "trouble" and satirize them. There are also many teachers who follow the book in class, lifeless and have no creative requirements at all. The reason why teachers' innovative quality is weak is that teachers' teaching in normal universities does not pay enough attention to innovative education.
