Beihang University (hereinafter referred to as Beihang University), located in Shoubei/Beijing, is a national key university directly under China/China/People's Republic of China/China/Ministry of Industry and Information Technology/Ministry, and a university directly under China/Central Government, ranking "double-class" and "double-class" in China/China.

The school was founded in 1952 and named Beijing Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. It was formed by the merger of the departments of aeronautics and astronautics of Tsinghua University, Beiyang University, Xiamen University, Sichuan University and Chongqing University. 1959 was designated as a national key university by the state. 1988 was renamed as Beihang/Aviation University in April. 20 17 was selected as a class list of "world-class universities and first-class disciplines".
