Malcolm X is an African-American civil rights activist, religious leader, writer and speaker. Born in 1925, he was mysteriously assassinated in 1965. By the time he died, his own life story, The Autobiography of McComb X, had been widely known. He was born in a poor family. Later, after joining an organization called "Islamic Nation", he adopted the name Malcolm X. This religious group changed the main customs and beliefs of mainstream Islam, and more specifically applied to the situation of African-Americans in the early 1960s.

Because he didn't receive a good education, he felt that it was not enough to impart his new faith to others. As a young man, he can use the simple and simple language of people in the street, and outline his thoughts with poor grammar and few words. As an adult, when he tried to tell people about his new faith at a rally, he found that he didn't have enough communication skills. In his own words, he "has no function".

Malcolm x was imprisoned for theft and other crimes. He learned about the "Islamic State" organization in prison. Without a good education, he felt unable to teach others his new faith. As a young man, he can summarize his ideas in grassroots language, which is simple, shallow, poor in grammar and vocabulary. But as an adult, when he explained his new faith to people at large public gatherings, he found that he lacked the necessary language communication skills. In his own words, he "doesn't even have this function."

In order to increase knowledge and improve skills, desperate Malcolm X designed a plan. He turned to books, believing that it would be beneficial. However, when he tried to read serious books by himself, he was distressed because he didn't know most of the words. "They may be in Chinese," he wrote. He skipped all the words he didn't know, and finally had no idea about the content of the book. "Become depressed," Malcolm X wrote in his autobiography, talking about his inadequate language skills.

In order to increase knowledge and improve communication skills, desperate malcolm x made a plan for himself. He decided to turn to books, believing that books would benefit him a lot. But when he tries to read some serious books, he can't help but feel distressed because he doesn't know most of the words. He wrote: "These books might as well be written in Chinese." He skipped all the words he didn't know, but in the end he didn't know what was written in the book. Malcolm x wrote in his autobiography that his language skills were poor: "I became depressed."
