The bitterness and joy of learning calligraphy.

I have studied calligraphy for three years, and now I am a good calligrapher (at least I think so with children my age). Do you want to know how I practice? There is a lot of bitterness and joy in it.

I remember when I was 6 years old, one day my mother took me to the Rihai Painting and Calligraphy School to enjoy the children's works. There are calligraphy works in various fonts, as well as many different forms of ink painting and gouache painting. I envy you, and I really want to learn this skill. So my mother took me to sign up.

At that time, the teacher asked me to try to write, and I couldn't even hold the brush stably. I grabbed it like a crayon and got ink all over my hands. It's ridiculous to think about it now. Miss Huang slowly corrected my pen holding posture, and then asked me to try to write a horizontal line with a brush. As a result, I wrote a line full of "goose bumps". However, Teacher Huang said that I was very receptive, and she accepted me under my mother's repeated entreaties.

So I came to the classroom, and many younger children were practicing seriously. I also sat down and tried to "trace" the double hook exercise paper given by Mr. Huang. You know, at that time, I couldn't even draw colors well, and my "horizontal" and "vertical" were certainly invisible. Teacher Huang encouraged me to say, "Ding Tao has made rapid progress. Look how great you are with a pen! " When I was praised, I worked harder.

But at that time, I was naughty. In my mother's words, I said, "I can't sit still for a second." I didn't write for five minutes, and then I started to do little tricks. Teacher Huang came up to me quietly and said, "Ding Tao, do you want to write as well as this little friend?" Practice quickly! "Seeing that everyone is immersed in practice, I am also embarrassed to pick up the pen again. After another five minutes, I looked out at the children at the next table; Then he deliberately scribbled on his clothes, tables and chairs with a brush; Then I knocked over the plate with ink ... which made the teacher fidgety. Miss Huang had to stand beside me again and again, drawing my attention back to my calligraphy practice again and again. Teacher Huang criticized me this time and praised me next time, which not only made me understand that I didn't do well, but also made me not lose confidence. In this way, under the constant reminder and guidance of Mr. Huang, I gradually mastered some tips of calligraphy and spent more and more time practicing in class.

In the first grade, Mr. Liu knew that I was learning calligraphy, so he specially asked me to take part in the calligraphy class at school. I was very happy. However, I am still careless and naughty. Although I have high understanding and rapid progress, I always get dirty when I come home after writing Chinese calligraphy. My mother prepared a pair of sleeves for me to wear when I was in the calligraphy interest class, but I don't like wearing sleeves. Once, when I was playing with my classmate at the next table, he accidentally spilled ink on my desk. Because I always write dirty at ordinary times, and I am afraid of being scolded by the teacher, I used my quick wits to clean the ink with the sleeves of my clothes, and then put on the sleeves prepared by my mother. In this way, I passed the school teacher easily. But when I got home, my mother tried her best to clean the ink on my school uniform, so I had to buy me a new school uniform. I was very disappointed when my mother scolded me severely that time. I didn't need clothes to wipe it, but I was scolded by my teacher and scolded by my mother. So I can't get stuck in an interest class. Now that I think about it, I really regret it. If only Teacher Xu could forgive me and accept me as an apprentice.

Soon, I passed the words "positive" and "forever". One day, Mr. Huang discussed with my mother and me, hoping that I could practice hard for two years (including two holidays from Monday to Friday) and make achievements. I'm a little hesitant, because I'm so tired after sitting for a long time and a day! I feel that my free time in winter and summer vacations has been ruined, and I want to back down. My mother told me that calligraphy is the essence of ancient culture in China. It can cultivate the mind and temperament, which is very helpful for my future. Miss Huang also looks forward to the joy of future success with me. I finally made up my mind and chose to study.

This is my first summer vacation to study calligraphy at Mr. Huang's house. I come to Mr. Huang's house at 7: 30 every morning (Monday to Friday) and write all day (except lunch break and lunch). My mother will pick me up after work. All this sounds a little incredible. But somehow, I didn't feel bitter at that time. Maybe I have a good atmosphere, or maybe I thought my work would be released soon. After a summer vacation, not only did I not miss my homework (I did it on Saturday and Sunday nights), but my calligraphy also advanced by leaps and bounds. Although I envy my classmates for learning to swim, visiting places of interest in the motherland, surfing the Internet or playing games to their heart's content during the summer vacation, I think it is still worthwhile, and I gradually fell in love with calligraphy.

When I finished two works, I always felt that it was almost enough. At first, I felt that practicing calligraphy was a bit boring and meaningless. I was always distracted when practicing calligraphy. Fortunately, Miss Huang found it in time and gave me a new font-Zhang Qianbei. Suddenly I feel very fresh and challenging, and this font is also very suitable for me, and the strokes are heavy and atmospheric. The more I write, the more I devote myself to it. Seeing me working so hard, Mr. Huang started one-on-one teaching. I also cherish this opportunity. What a "hard work pays off". With Mr. Huang's careful education and his own efforts, he won the second prize of "Mocai Cup National Children's Painting and Calligraphy Competition".

This is the story of my learning calligraphy, which taught me that you can only gain if you pay, and I will definitely keep practicing.
