An important part of the postgraduate examination system is the re-examination organized by the applicant institutions after passing the postgraduate entrance examination (initial examination). Generally, it is also divided into written test and interview. The early re-examination of graduate students was mostly a form, but since 2006, the weight of re-examination has been increased for graduate students, and some enrollment units even increased the weight of re-examination to 50%, requiring candidates to have real talent and higher adaptability.
The calculation methods of the results of postgraduate entrance examination and re-examination in colleges and universities are slightly different. Generally speaking, the calculation method of most colleges and universities is as follows:
Re-examination score = written test score of specialized courses × written test weight+interview score ×(90%- written test weight)+foreign language listening and speaking ability score × 10%.
