A counselor is a person who helps people solve various psychological problems. The most common and main target of psychological counseling is healthy people or people with psychological problems. Healthy people will face many problems such as family, job choice, study and social adaptation, and will expect to make ideal choices, successfully spend all stages of life, try their best to exert their abilities and seek a good quality of life.

Application mode

(1) 1 Copy of academic certificate and 2 copies of ID card;

(2) The seal of the personnel and labor department of the unit engaged in this type of work with continuous service;

(3) 1 inch bareheaded recent photo and 2-inch blue background color photo.

Examination arrangement

(1) The appraisal of this major at all levels includes comprehensive examination of theoretical knowledge and assessment of professional ability. The closed-book written test is adopted, and the questions are randomly selected from the question bank and graded according to the standard answers. The test scores are based on a 100-point system, and more than 60 points are qualified, which requires a comprehensive evaluation by a psychological counselor.

(2) Those who pass the individual scores can keep their scores for 3 years.

(III) Persons with professional titles in psychology, education and medicine who are engaged in clinical and teaching work of psychological counseling may not take the comprehensive examination of theoretical knowledge, and be recommended by the unit and directly submit personal performance data to the expert group to declare their qualifications as psychological counselors, and the expert group will conduct comprehensive evaluation.

(4) The examination is organized and arranged by the vocational skill appraisal institution, and the time is 1 1 every July.

According to the requirements of the national vocational standards, those who pass the theoretical knowledge examination and skill operation examination shall be awarded the corresponding qualification certificates by the administrative department of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, which are common throughout the country.
