Yichun Preschool Teachers College is an ordinary college established on the basis of the former Gao 'an Campus of Yichun University with the approval of Jiangxi Provincial People's Government. The school can be traced back to Gao 'an Normal School, which was founded in 1906. 1946 was changed to Jiangxi gaoan normal school, and when Jiangxi's educational structure was adjusted, 1949 was renamed Jiangxi gaoan normal school. In 2005, Jiangxi Provincial People's Government decided to merge Gao 'an Normal School into Yichun University.
