Chen Jiageng (1874101October 21-1August 96 12) is a famous patriotic overseas Chinese leader, entrepreneur, educator, philanthropist and social activity.

19 13 years, Jimei Primary School, Jimei Middle School, Normal School, Fisheries School, Navigation School, Business School, Agriculture and Forestry School and Xiamen University were successively established in Jimei, Chen Jiageng's hometown.

From 6: 438 to 9: 49, Chen Jiageng returned to China to attend the preparatory meeting of CPPCC at the invitation of President Mao Zedong. He used to be vice chairman of the National Committee of China People's Political Consultative Conference, member of the NPC Standing Committee and chairman of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese.
