Wang Hongcai, Han nationality, party member, Yongnian, Hebei, 1966. Doctor of Education, postdoctoral fellow in management, professor, doctoral supervisor. Main research interests: educational theory and higher education management. He used to be a researcher of Tianjin Academy of Educational Sciences and director of the Institute of Higher Education of Tianjin Academy of Educational Sciences. Since 2004, he has been engaged in research and teaching in the Institute of Education of Xiamen University, and served as the director of the Institute of Educational Theory. In 2005, he was selected as the project of "Xiamen University New Century Talents Support Program": Research on Modern University System. In 2009, he was selected into the New Century Excellent Talents Support Program of the Ministry of Education, and the support project was "Exploration on the Reform of Postgraduate Training Mechanism" (No.NCET-09-0679).
