Recalling the art teacher of Xinsu Normal School
? At the class reunion, I talked about my alma mater, Xinsu Normal School, which has gone through a hundred years. Has moved out of Xinqiao Lane and merged into a vocational university. The name "New Soviet Normal School" no longer exists, and the school with a long history has become "history". When the sad news reached my ears, I felt a little nostalgia and nostalgia. A football field paved with cinders, a 100-meter-long cultural corridor, a back garden at the end of the corridor, and an old dormitory rebuilt by a Japanese hospital immediately came to mind as a student canteen in the conference hall.

? There are many teachers who are familiar faces and clear. Among them, Wang Weilin, a calligraphy teacher, is an outstanding artist in Suzhou. He is now a director of China Calligraphy Association, vice chairman of provincial calligraphy association, chairman of municipal calligraphy association, a famous calligrapher and a calligraphy theorist. Teacher Shen Nanqiang, now a member of China Artists Association, an art education expert of the Municipal Academy of Educational Sciences, and a famous painter; There is also Mr. Liu Jia, now Deputy Secretary-General of the National Fine Arts Committee of China Artists Association, Vice Chairman of Suzhou Artists Association, Dean of China Painting Academy, Professor of Suzhou University, and a famous painter in China; Teacher Yao Yong is a famous oil painter and has won many national awards in Suzhou Art Museum. Mr. Ge Hongzhi, Mr. Liu Xiang and so on are all university professors. Ling, a teacher who died suddenly, was already the president of the Municipal Institute of Printing and a famous printmaker. He and Liu Yingnian died young, and their voices and smiles seemed to be in front of them.

? I remember one afternoon, when the sun was shining, the second half of the studio was crowded with students. In front of it was the teacher of the art group, who sketched in front of a beautiful and graceful female classmate. The Eight Immortals crossed the ocean and showed their magical powers.

? What impressed me most was Mr. Shen Nanqiang, standing in front of an easel with a felt on the drawing board and a three-foot poster on it. Mr. Shen holds a golden hook brush in his right hand and an inkstone in his left, which is quite heroic. He saw his eyes drift back and forth, the pen tip fluttered up and down, suddenly stopped and rubbed, and the hook rubbed. Starting from one eye, nose, mouth, face, ears, hair, neck and even hands, a bust of a contemporary lady inadvertently glowed. Interestingly, Mr. Shen actually touched the tip of the pen with his own lips, making the middle of the lips black, much like the black-and-white version of a woman painted by a floating official in ancient Japan, which made people laugh. Teacher Shen explained with a strong Guangxi accent while painting: "Ink is made of glutinous rice. It's okay. You can eat it as a snack when you are hungry ... "This is very serious. We don't argue whether it's true or not, we just think it's funny.

? Teacher Yao Yong used gouache painting tools, just drew a simple outline with ultramarine blue, and then began to paint. Three times five divided by two, a group of advanced gray skin colors gather on the screen, but the brushwork is in place. With the structure and the relationship between light and shade, with the deepening of depiction, a beautiful woman's head began to appear. Then quickly spread the head, neck and trunk with big brush strokes, only five or six colors, one hand appears, the structure is clear and bright, and the atmosphere is free and easy. The overall color of the picture is mainly pure gray, vivid and vivid, rich and subtle, and the warmth and contrast are unified.

? Other teachers have different tools.

? Teacher Liu Xiang used charcoal strips, which were painted on the wrapping paper, with a yellow-brown background and a unique flavor. White chalk is used to brighten the highlights, which makes us feel very novel. It turns out that sketches can be drawn like this!

? Teacher Ge Hongzhi uses a pencil and pencil to draw paper. His painting style is very rigorous, his brushwork is exquisite, his lines are evenly arranged and relaxed, and his layers are rich. It is an original Su-pai sketch! It really gave us a good demonstration and benefited us a lot.

? Teacher Liu is good at watercolor painting. His works are unpretentious and rooted in old fruits, just like his way of dealing with people. He really teaches by example and takes great pains. Once, in order to cooperate with the students' creation, he kept doing many difficult movements in order to sketch, and he was panting after dozens of minutes, which was really touching. A few years after we graduated, the news of his early death came. It was incredible at the time! I believe that a good man like him will have a good life in another world.

? At this time, Mr. Ling Wujun, with a full face of beard, black-rimmed glasses and long hair fluttering, looked like a statue in Marseille, which really had a "taste" and an artist's "taste". Teacher Ling is keen on oil painting at this time. I have seen one or two of his oil paintings before. His pen is very atmospheric and skillful, but its shape is rigorous and realistic, and its color is simple and heavy. Completely realistic, not as unrestrained as his appearance. The female student's works in this sketch are more refined, and her skin color is extremely "foreign", and her white inside is deeply red, as if the youthful vigor and vitality are really surging under the oil painting pigments. I can't believe that the teacher whose works have such vitality, but whose life is so fragile, suddenly passed away at the most brilliant moment of artistic achievement! Alas!

? Mr. Wang Weilin graduated from the Chinese Department of the Soviet Union University. He gave us classes in selected works and writing. Because of his high attainments in calligraphy, he also served as our calligraphy teacher and participated in the seal cutting interest group. Teacher Wang always whispers in class. It seems that we have never seen him in a hurry, let alone angry. Although we often make trouble in class and embarrass him, he always follows the rules and uses his "softness" to quickly resolve our "rigidity". He explained everything in class simply and clearly, as if he knew everything. Whenever we don't pay attention, he will intersperse some anecdotes about celebrities, unofficial history rumors and the like, which once aroused our interest and brought our soul back to its original position, so his class time passed quickly. Teacher Wang appreciates imaginative students very much, and always encourages us to think boldly and find another way, instead of sticking to the rules and standing still. He said that writing articles must be innovative and have their own unique vision. Good ideas and starting points make the article half successful. As for writing skills, reading extensively was not built in a day. In a word, conception is the soul of the article, and we must pay attention to it, especially for those of us who are inexperienced, which can get twice the result with half the effort. Inspired by Mr. Wang, I began to write from a special angle, writing two propositions at a time. One is "horse", urging the horse to be servile. One is "Alley", which uses anthropomorphic techniques to imitate the montage of movies and switch time and space, and has been appreciated by Mr. Wang. I read two articles in front of the whole class. As an excellent example, I was really flattered and overjoyed, which greatly satisfied my vanity, so that I still remember it vividly until nearly 20 years later.

? Because of Mr. Wang's appreciation, I began to be ignorant and cocked my tail. In the interest class of seal cutting, Mr. Wang took out his works and humbly asked us for advice. In fact, I have just learned a little. Because of his modesty and appreciation, I actually made a great evaluation of his works. At this time, Mr. Wang was not embarrassed, but listened to my nonsense seriously, even nodding his head frequently and thoughtfully. It was not until many years later that I suddenly realized how stupid I was. Playing with a broadsword in front of Master Guan is really self-satisfied and ashamed. And Mr. Wang's open-minded elder demeanor makes me respect.

? What impressed me most when Mr. Liu Jia was in Xinsu Normal University was his handsome, natural and free-spirited, and his strict academic requirements for students. When I was studying in the Art College of Su Da, he had been transferred to Su Da, which happened to be the teaching of my sketch class. Speaking of the past of New Soviet Normal University, we met happily. My sketching level is better in the advanced class. I thought he would give me a high score because of my teacher-student relationship, but he changed the subject when grading, bluntly pointed out the shortcomings of my homework, and firmly said to me, "Based on your shortcomings, I won't give you 90 points."

? These teachers in Xinsu Normal University not only guide us to study, but also play with us, which really makes us become one with the students. Their patchwork football team has played many games with us, because most of them are unfamiliar and rarely cooperate, so they often lose by a big score. Teachers Liu Xiang and Ling can still play, so they are most worried about failure. Every time they lose the ball, they always refuse to accept it and threaten to win next time. It looks very brilliant, as if they have returned to our time. In fact, at that time, they were only a few years older than us, basically the same generation, not completely naive. Teachers Shen Nanqiang and Wang Weilin are the most interesting. They are very gentlemanly when they play football. They basically didn't chase the ball until they reached their feet. Kick when you arrive, and most of them still miss it. Sometimes they even trip, causing several other elite players to make a hullabaloo about. They looked innocent, patting their trouser legs and shaking their heads, and we laughed.

? How wonderful it is to recall the harmony and joy of that moment! How charming! Unfortunately, the young days are gone forever, and the years have changed. Those laughs have gone to blowing in the wind, just like the normal school in the new Soviet area where we lived and studied for three years, and our youth, which have all become memories and will never come again.

? Teachers are scattered all over the world, and I want to say to my former students, "Thank you! I wish you peace and happiness! "
