Qiqihar Teachers College, whose predecessor was founded in 1906 (thirty-two years of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty), is a crash course for teachers founded by the provincial capital (Qiqihar) high school (Yi ology before Han Dynasty). 1908 (thirty-four years of Guangxu), on this basis, two-level normal schools were established. 19 14 (in the third year of the Republic of China) was renamed as "Heilongjiang Provincial No.1 Normal School", which is one of the earliest secondary normal schools in China. In 2003, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the former Qiqihar Normal School, Kindergarten Normal School, Education College and Keshan Normal College merged to form Qiqihar Normal College.
The school has 392 teaching and administrative staff, including professor 18, associate professor 142, and 5,000 students, with a building area of nearly10.2 million square meters and an area of 250,000 square meters. The school has complete teaching facilities, including 7 computer classrooms, 8 laboratories, 3 language laboratories, Qiqihar Teachers College, 1 psychological education laboratory, 1 network center. At present, there are 24 three-year majors in senior high school: building intelligent engineering technology, numerical control technology, automobile inspection and maintenance technology, computer application technology, computer information management, tourism management, hotel management, psychological consultation, Chinese, applied English (including 30 students running a school jointly), applied Russian (running a school jointly), applied Korean (running a school jointly), Chinese education, mathematics education, English education, biology education and so on. There are seven five-year junior high school majors: general education, computer, English, preschool education, art, music (dance direction) and physical education. In order to continuously increase the connotation of running a school, improve the level of running a school, expand the achievements of running a school and expand the space of running a school, the school actively carried out foreign exchanges and cooperation, signed cooperation agreements with Roju University in Korea and Irkutsk State Language University in Russia respectively, and began enrolling students in 2005.
