It belongs to the elimination and selection system, and merit-based admission. The way of study is to study at school every Monday to Friday. Full-time graduate students are one of the learning forms of unified recruitment of graduate students, and like part-time graduate students, they belong to the unified recruitment of graduate students in general higher education. Postgraduate education is divided into two levels: master's degree and doctoral degree.

The types of graduate students in China are quite complicated, mainly according to the types of academic qualifications.

1, general higher education recruits postgraduates (including full-time dual-certificate postgraduates and part-time dual-certificate postgraduates). Ordinary postgraduates in both learning forms must take the national unified entrance examination for postgraduates, set the same admission scores, and implement the same training and graduation requirements. The two are just different learning forms.

2. Traditional on-the-job graduate students (including on-the-job personnel who have documents to study for a master's degree and apply for a master's degree with equivalent academic qualifications, only graduate students have corresponding degree certificates, but no graduate degree certificates).
