What is topik?
TOPIK, full name of Korean proficiency test, Chinese name "Korean proficiency test". It is an examination sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Education, which aims to evaluate the Korean learning level of foreign students and provide language proficiency assessment for foreigners studying and working in Korea.

Korean Proficiency Test (TOPIK): Like other language proficiency tests (IELTS in English, TOEFL in Japanese, JEP), it is a language proficiency test.

The examination content includes listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar and so on. Korean proficiency is divided into elementary (1.2), intermediate (3.4) and advanced (5.6).

The Korean proficiency test is an exam sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Education, which aims to evaluate the Korean learning level of foreign students and provide language proficiency assessment for foreigners studying and working in Korea. At present, the Korean proficiency test in China is generally held on the third Sunday of April and September every year.

The examination places are Beijing, Shanghai, Qingdao, Weihai, Changchun, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Yantai, Nanjing, Suzhou, Yanji, Jinan, Nanchang, Xi 'an, Changsha, Shenzhen and Chengdu. The examination fee was recently adjusted to 300 yuan/grade. From the 9th session, the English name of Korean Proficiency Test was changed to TOPIK (Korean Proficiency Test).

The Korean proficiency test maintains the six-level system with the current practice, but since 2006, the test items have been changed from the current six-level (1 -6) to three-level (elementary, intermediate and advanced).
