Why is North College called North?
The northern college entrance examination refers to a way for college graduates to enter undergraduate courses through examinations. It is called the Northern College Entrance Examination mainly because the earliest northern cities implemented this policy earlier and more widely. Higher education in the northern region developed earlier, so it is ahead of other regions in implementing the policy of upgrading from college to undergraduate. In other areas, the development of higher education is relatively late, and the implementation of the policy of upgrading from college to undergraduate is relatively late. Although the Northern College Entrance Examination has been implemented all over the country, people still call it the Northern College Entrance Examination for the sake of distinction.
