Julian was born in Constantinople in 33 1 and is the son of Julius Constantinople. Julian's father and Emperor Constantine I are half-brothers. Julian's grandfather was Constantine Cronus, the monarch of the Western Roman Empire. After the death of Constantine the Great in 337, all the royal families wanted to be emperors of the empire, so the country was caught in constant struggles and intrigues.
Julian's cousin King Constantine (Christian Arioux) decided to destroy Julian's family and killed all the collateral clans of his grandfather's half-brother. Finally, only Constantine II, Constantine, Julian and Julian's half-brother Gallus were left among Constantine's kin. Later, the empire was acquired by Constantine II, Constantine II and Constantine II.
