Which is more professional in the construction and design of anti-drug education base, anti-drug popular science publicity and education base, anti-drug culture exhibition hall, anti-drug museum and anti-drug publicity and education base? Shanghai Anti-drug Science Education Museum was originally named Shanghai Anti-drug Education Museum. The original museum was completed in June 2003. During the opening of 12, it received more than 30,000 tourists (including more than 880,000 primary and secondary school students), ranking among the best in similar activities in China. It has been named as "Shanghai Volunteer Service Base" and "Shanghai College Students Social Practice Base" by the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Spiritual Civilization Office and the Municipal Education Commission.

With the development of anti-drug situation, it is more and more important to deepen anti-drug propaganda and improve the pertinence and effectiveness of preventive education. In view of the lack of investment in the museum, the single means of exhibition, the relatively old content and the fact that most of the equipment has entered the peak period of maintenance, in order to increase the scientific and technological content, enhance the attraction and appeal, and improve the effect of expanding anti-drug education, the Municipal Anti-drug Commission and the Municipal Science and Technology Commission upgraded the original museum and renamed it Shanghai Anti-drug Science Education Museum.
