Introduction to the management standards of compulsory education schools (for Trial Implementation)
In order to adapt to the new situation and new tasks of education reform and development, fully implement the education policy, improve the governance system of compulsory education, implement quality education in depth, promote education equity, and promote schools to run schools according to law and scientific management in the compulsory education stage, the Ministry of Education recently formulated and issued the "Regulations on the Management of Compulsory Education Schools (Trial)" and started the work in the experimental area. The Management Standard for Compulsory Education Schools (Trial) consists of three parts: basic concepts, basic contents and implementation requirements. According to the characteristics of compulsory education school management and the reality of school management, the management standard sets six management responsibilities centered on students and teachers, namely, "treat every student equally, promote the all-round development of students, lead the professional development of teachers, improve the quality of education and teaching, create a harmonious and safe environment, and build a modern school system". There are 22 management tasks under the six management responsibilities and 92 management requirements under the management tasks, which basically cover the main aspects of school management. In order to test whether the 92 requirements put forward in the Management Standard are in line with the local conditions, the Ministry of Education has determined eight cities, districts and counties as experimental areas of the Management Standard, namely Haidian District, xiaoyi city City, Lvliang, Taizhou City, Weihai City, Hubei Province, Yidu City, Yichang City, Pujiang County, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province and Huai 'an City, Jiangsu Province. A few days ago, the Ministry of Education held a meeting to make special arrangements for the work in the experimental area.
