Approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, the school cooperated with Missouri State University to build an international business school. The Institute of International Education is a Chinese education base established by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, and it is a designated enrollment unit for foreign students approved by the Ministry of Education.

It is a demonstration base for studying in China in Liaoning Province, receiving more than 200 international students/kloc-0 from more than 50 countries and regions every year, and has a Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) test center. The school has also set up Confucius Institutes in the University of Miami and Milan National University.

Liaoning Normal University, referred to as "Liaoning Normal University", is located in Dalian, Liaoning Province. It is a "double-first-class" domestic high-level university in Liaoning Province, the implementation school of the "excellent middle school teacher training plan" project of the Ministry of Education, the training and continuing education base of basic education teachers in Liaoning Province, the research and consultation base of educational science, and the teacher training base of colleges and universities.

Now it has developed into a provincial key university with the development of economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, medicine, management, art and other disciplines.

Liaoning Normal University was founded in September of 195 1 year, when it was first established as Lvda Normal College; April 1953, renamed Dalian Normal University; On July 1958, Dalian Normal University and dalian university of foreign languages merged to form Dalian Normal University. In July 1960, the school was renamed Liaoning Normal University; 1983 12 was renamed as Liaoning Normal University; 198 1 was approved as a master's degree awarding unit; 1998 was granted the right to confer doctoral degrees.
