Provisions of the Ministry of Education on Make-up Classes in Primary and Secondary Schools
Legal analysis: First, primary and secondary schools are prohibited from organizing and requiring students to make up classes with compensation; Second, it is strictly forbidden for primary and secondary schools and off-campus training institutions to jointly carry out paid remedial classes; Third, it is strictly forbidden for primary and secondary schools to provide educational and teaching facilities or student information for off-campus training institutions to make up classes for compensation; Fourth, it is forbidden for in-service primary and secondary school teachers to organize, recommend and induce students to participate in paid remedial classes inside and outside the school; Fifth, it is forbidden for in-service primary and secondary school teachers to participate in off-campus training institutions organized by other teachers, parents and parents' committees or to make up classes with compensation; Sixth, it is forbidden for in-service primary and secondary school teachers to introduce students and provide relevant information to off-campus training institutions and others.

Legal basis: Provisions on Prohibiting Paid Make-up Classes for Primary and Secondary Schools and Teachers in Service.

Article 1 It is strictly forbidden for primary and secondary schools to organize and require students to make up classes with compensation;

Article 2 It is strictly forbidden for primary and secondary schools and off-campus training institutions to jointly make up lessons with compensation;

Article 3 It is strictly forbidden for primary and secondary schools to provide educational and teaching facilities or student information for off-campus training institutions to make up lessons with compensation;

Article 4 It is strictly forbidden for in-service primary and secondary school teachers to organize, recommend and induce students to make up lessons with compensation inside and outside the school;

Article 5 It is strictly forbidden for in-service primary and secondary school teachers to participate in off-campus training institutions organized by other teachers, parents and parents' committees or to make up classes with compensation;

Article 6 In-service primary and secondary school teachers are prohibited from introducing students and providing relevant information to off-campus training institutions and others.
