Let's talk about parents first: if the teacher is endorsed by foreign students, parents will sue the teacher. Then parents lack character. (1) I have seen an incident in which a parent maliciously sued a teacher and extorted money from him.
A girl fell asleep in chemistry class, and the chemistry teacher went over and lifted the students' hair. As a result, the students stood up and said that the teacher had molested her. Moreover, the students ran home to call their parents at that time. After parents came to school, they still insisted that the chemistry teacher molested her daughter and demanded compensation of 60 thousand yuan.
Later, under the mediation of the Education Bureau, the chemistry teacher compensated the students for 26,000 yuan, and the parents gave up. This was more than ten years ago, and 26,000 yuan was almost a teacher's salary for one year.
Girls' grades are not so good either. Parents know that students can't go to college and think it's good to blackmail teachers for a sum of money. As everyone knows, it is the parents' poor character that can't educate children with good grades. This is the real cause and effect. Just hurt innocent teachers.
(2) It may be reasonable for parents to sue the teacher because the teacher is an international student. Parents can say that the teacher punished the students. But from the perspective of being a man, it also reflects parents' lack of character.
Even if parents don't want the teacher to leave their children after school, the best way is not to sue the teacher, but to communicate with the teacher and explain the situation.
By the same token, parents are so cruel to teachers that it is not good for their children's education. Children can't become talents.
So, that's what happened. Cause and effect are always interdependent. When people think they have benefited, they don't know that they have lost more in another place.
Second, talk about teachers: many people think that this is the responsibility of teachers, for the good of students. However, from the analysis of deep-seated reasons, there are not necessarily (1) two basic facts that must be clarified first.
1, and the enrollment rate cannot be 100%.
No matter how hard teachers try, students 100% can't go to college.
At present, the national average rate of a book is 15.6%, and the undergraduate average rate is 43.6%. In other words, no matter how hard teachers try, there are still more than 56% students who can't go to the undergraduate course.
2. Students are different.
Some students have good behavior habits and strong learning ability. Some students have poor behavior habits and weak learning ability. This is an irrefutable fact. No matter how hard the teacher works, he can't teach all the students equally well. Students' grades are bound to be good and bad.
(2) In that case, what is the purpose of the teacher to ask the students to stay and endorse?
Does the teacher want the students who can't get it to get one? Or does the teacher want students with poor habits and weak abilities to become good habits and strong abilities?
Furthermore, if the teacher really has this idea, is it the best way to leave it for the children to endorse? Or what is the significance of leaving children to endorse to achieve the above two points?
Personally, if the teacher really wants to realize the above two ideas, it is certainly of little use for foreign students to endorse. We must find out the reasons behind students' inability to endorse, and then help solve the real root causes of students. Endorsement is only a temporary solution, not a permanent cure.
Therefore, the teacher requires students to recite, which is not very helpful to students, but mainly to the total grade of the class.
(3) In fact, such practices are very common in schools, but they are all aimed at improving class performance.
As a high school teacher, I have already seen through the essence behind many educational phenomena. For example, it is of great help to strengthen the endorsement of the class total score and solve problems. Because this method can obviously promote students with poor grades. One student can often improve twenty or thirty points, so two students can improve the class average score 1 point.
In normal teaching, if the average score of a teacher's class is 3 or 4 points higher than that of another class, it will be considered that the teaching quality of this teacher is very good.
However, judging from the college entrance examination, the score of one class is 3 or 4 points higher than that of another class, which is only the teacher's score. There is no difference between the two classes for students. The number and level of people admitted to universities are similar. For example, there are 53 students in parallel classes in our school, and about 38 students get one, a difference of one or two. And these two people are sometimes accidental mistakes.
Moreover, for the students admitted to the university, if they all pass the admission line, the total score will be about 5 or 6 points, which will not have much impact on the students' school level and future work. Many times, students whose grades differ by 5, 6 or even 10 are admitted to the same school.
But these 5 or 6 points are very significant in evaluating teachers' teaching achievements. Those who are 5 or 6 points higher must be good teachers.
That is the reality. Teachers' desperate pursuit of grades is essentially for their own fame and bonuses, which really has little effect on students.
(4) Don't use special instead of general.
We have to admit that for individual students, if we pay close attention to them, their grades may increase greatly and achieve a qualitative leap. For example, from 3 to 400 points to undergraduate courses. From 4 to 500 points, I was admitted to a book. But these are very few students, most of them are normal, and their grades fluctuate within a certain range.
(5) So, does it deny the teacher's teaching significance?
Not exactly. On the contrary, it just proves the teaching significance of teachers.
Only those teachers who really teach students how to behave, how to understand life and how to learn to learn can really make students make great progress and be thoroughly remoulded. Relying on mechanical reinforcement is ultimately inferior.
