Basic education in China includes preschool education, primary education and general secondary education (junior high school and senior high school). Basic education is implemented under the macro guidance of the state, and local governments are mainly responsible for it, and it is managed at different levels.

Early childhood education: We often talk about early childhood education, which often refers to early childhood education in a narrow sense. Preschool education in a narrow sense refers to the education of kindergartens and other specialized preschool education institutions. Primary education and general secondary education usually refer to nine-year compulsory education plus three-year high school education.
