April 15 is the national safety education day every year.

National Security Education Day is a festival to enhance national security awareness and safeguard national security. On July 1 2065438, the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) passed Article 14 of the National Security Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), and designated April 15 as the National Security Education Day for all.

On April 7, 2020, the Ministry of Justice and the National Law Popularization Office jointly issued a notice to deploy and carry out the 2020 National Security Education Day law popularization activities throughout the country to raise the awareness of national security and the rule of law, create a strong atmosphere of the rule of law to safeguard national security, and enhance the ability to prevent and resist security risks.

The theme of this activity is "Adhering to the overall national security concept, coordinating traditional security and non-traditional security, and providing a strong guarantee for building a well-off society in an all-round way".
